Since 1998 as far as I have evidence of and can remember, in high school, I have been pouring my heart, soul and emotions into my journaling and poetry writing. I hope you find the poetry and other entries in the Blog section enjoyable! My zine is not censored, and so therefore my blog is not censored either. I use very little profanity in my poetry or my other posts. I go balls to the wall or nothing at all! I worked hard on all of my poetry and other posts, and there isn't just poetry, I included some content from the Bakos Times previous issues as well. There are entries about addictions, mental illness, technology, politics, the current state of the crazy world we live in, and my future plans to distribute my spoken word recordings as a CD or vinyl, with limited editions and artwork in the vinyl editions. I can begin marketing my spoken word recordings immediately, because I have several of my poems already recorded. I used my phone and a gaming headset with  a microphone. My dream is also to start a podcast with my brofessor Nate so we can jibber jabber to each other and have the rest of the world analyze it and take it in. My current studio setup, an audio interface for two microphones, a powerful miniPC, a printer, a mini piano with a drum pad on it, and two podcast quality microphones, as well as a good webcam for broadcasting, equals a jolly good time making drum beats and a piano and someday I will be adding a synthesizer, a drum machine and turntables! I also invested in a powerful, reliable Digital Audio Workstation, FruityLoops, so that I can record my spoken word poetry recordings and integrate everything together into Windows 11 64-bit.
So there it is. What I want to accomplish in the next several months, as wildly ambitious but manageable goals and attainable goals!

Mynd / Flow
By Dominic Jones
The ink tip
Hits that papyrus
I’m hoping that the flow
Spreads like a virus
Gotta keep this going
Hang onto this vibe
Show this writer’s block
Behemoth standing before me
That it’s mind over matter
Even if it’s a bit o’ chatter
The angry monkeys
Will soon be subdued
Then I can begin
Giving my cranium food
Mynd / Flow
And get it to go
Back to my origins
Reach deep down into myself
Harness this creativity
Embedded into my subconscious
I get to mix my insanity batter
Pour that viscous liquid into the mold of my imperfect dome
Make sure it don’t spill
That shit ‘s hard to produce
Now there’s ideas and words
Filtering through the sunlight
Dust flecks floating around like fireflies
Shady grove of redwoods
This beautiful display of nature
Evidence enough for me that someone
Is watching over me
This ambitious mirage
I keep on mistaking for my soul
This preconceived notion
I blindly cling 2
That even though I’m flawed
It reminds me I’m human
Mynd / Flow
Get this ball rolling
Chimpanzee off my back
Blossom of perceptibility
Gathering momentum
It’s not always there
But for awhile, yes indeed
Gna find some energy
On which to feed
Side-stepping or standing my ground
Rather than backsliding on that slippery slope
Teetering somewhere between
Awesomeness and flawed genius
With just a bit of narcissism
I perceive it as a journey
Rather than a struggle
Walk outside
Hear the birds
Absorb the chi radiating
From this beautiful, chaotic world
Where a smile can change
The course of henceforth mood
I find myself in the thick of it
Much knowledge mistaken for absurd shit
Depends on how you look at it
When you gaze into the night
I remind myself I won’t ever
Give up this fight
It’s always there
For me to observe
But I keep on going
All along worth it
When I get antisocial
In a room full of peers
It’s because my thoughts
Flow like this ink
Coloring outside the lines
Forging forth into new, unexplored horizons
Fleeting thoughts for this
Experience staring back at me
Since there’s no Plan B
This is all I got
Getting me to think
Reality sink
Propped up by sunshine
I am part of the divine
And the release of
happy
chemicals
The blood that pulsates
In my
Heart
Is just the start
Of this never-ending
Mind-blowing
Ground-breaking ingenuity
For the masses to see
And possibly comprehend
